Hello, my name is Owen Dowling. After hearing about the devastating February 2009 Bushfires, I drove down from Brisbane to offer my services with the Yea Relief Centre. I volunteered there for a period of two weeks whilst the centre was still operating. I liked Yea that much that I decided to stay on. I am offering the service of an 8 tonne excavator with 300, 600 & 1200 bucket, 400 & 600 auger, dozer blade for fast levelling and swing boom for tight access, with personal truck to float. My experience ranges from tunnels to farms, highways to private roads, schools to sheds. I can overcome problems for builders, homeowners, fencing contractors etc. such as: Uneven ground: Dozer blade for fast levelling Tight areas: Swing boom for those tricky areas – cattle yards, machinery sheds, houses Untidy sites: General grade Keep materials separate – clay in the clay stock pile/stone in the stone stock pile Access: Keep driveways smooth and free flowing Underground services: Read drawings Mark with paint Hand dig Excavations: Augered hole - visible, mark with tape, fence off Deep excavations benched Communication: Talk to people Let my plans be known Safety: Flashing light, travel alarm Certified lifting chains Red card, public liability insurance, excavator ticket 300mm Bucket: From digging a trench to pulling out stumps. 600 and 1200mm Bucket: Normal bulk digging to grading. 400 and 600mm Auger: Auger holes for your house or shed.
